There are 5 different series in this metaseries. 4 of those have been at least partially scanlated so far. All of those 4 are the same. There's some changes in the artwork, minor changes in the story/dialog (mostly just about the ammount of details given in various parts. One series will give a little more detail about one thing & less about another, with a different one gives more detail about the second but less about a 3rd one), and one is done in 4-koma. There is no real difference in any of them though. It really makes you wonder why in the world they bothered to retell the story so many times. Each series has a different artist, but they all have the same author.
I had been reading the most fully translated version & then discovered the existance of the others & have caught up on those today. I thought they would tell the story from different angles, or tell tales that were glossed over in other versions, or tell other events from the same times, or SOMEthing, but nope. All 4 tell the exact same story.

Don't get me wrong though, it's a good series. The story is good, the characters are good, the art in all the versions is good. I just cannot wrap my mind around whyTF they made 4 (possibily 5) iterations of the exact same manga.
