2001 Nights

Hi there everybody :3 i found this incredible manga called 2001 Nights from middle 80's. I'd like to talk about it since I like this space opera and hard sci-fi thingies, but none of my friends read this kind of manga or novels ^^U

While reading it found an image that was identical to that of the monolith over the moon at Kubrik's 2001, lol http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ob2lSL8uwk.../2001-moon.jpg but i'm sure there must be more like that on the manga and references to famous sci-fi movies and novels (like naming some charas Dave, the Nemesis planet, Paradise Lost, etc).

Does anybody know 'bout more manga like 2001 Nights? :)

Btw, here says it's a 3 volumes manga but i've found 10 of them ._.U how can i help to correct the info?
