Thing should go as follows:


Old man dies -> Everyone is automatically fucked -> Lotsa dead -> Ichigo bites off his tongue while trying to shout out cliché phrases and dies -> Hueco Mundo collapses for no real reason and everyone dies there too -> End of Bleach.

Yeah, that left a really sour aftertaste. I'm glad we still get to see this guy fight Yamamoto in a hopefully epic showdown, but I'm sickened that we had to pay off Kenpachi's fight for it.
He didn't deserve that, he really didn't.

I was paying so much attention to them keychains that I didn't notice him piggybacking Ichigo to the plot.
Or that face in the top right that suggests uncomfortable actions against one's orifices.

kubo had to cut his fight out. If he showed it, he couldn't have made a sensible fight sequence that led to kenpachi's defeat. By cutting it out we are forced to accept that the nazi king is stronger than kenpachi - even if it's illogical
