I'm just glad he didn't make it as if nothing at all had happened. Hinata's confession still happened. I can accept the revival somewhat due to that.

Normally in anime I expect undo's to be full undo's, not partial.

Yeah, I thought that he was going to repair the village in full and revive everyone (not make it as though nothing happened though). I was pleasantly surprised that the revival only took one chapter, really. Konan's sad-ass 'uh... whatever. here are some paper flowers? ta-dah!' exit made me chuckle. Wasn't too poorly done in my book, as much as I was a little disappointed that Nagato didn't say anything about Madara (or at least in the form of a 'mystery figure' that egged him on or something). The only real surprise was Sasuke at the end, which should get things moving again.

Couple thoughts on the recent events .. how are the other villages (Grass, Mist etc) going to react to this new major alliance of Leaf, Sand and Rain?

Wasn't Naruto's mom from Rain? Now that he knows who his dad is, maybe he also has questions about his mother and could try to find out what happened to her?

Sigh.... I was like YES finally Naruto is given some amazing respect but then the meeting turned that gaping smile of mine into a frown due to predictability Something tells me Konoha has fallen greatly and most of the main characters in Naruto will turn into a renegade rebel group trying to wring control back.

If this will go this way it might prove out to be fantastic development imho. It will be totally Gundam Seedish though. Konoha alliance led by fanatical Danzou vs some other villages + Akatsuki led by Uchicha Madara, and in the middle Naruto joined with Sasuke (cuz after some 20+ chapters of fight they'll propably reconcile, seeing as NAruto turned into a pacifist ) + some random ninjas trying to prevent the all-out war. Ye, just change the powers to mechas and we got Seed.

I'm really excited about where this might go. The Pain arc bored me, to be completely honest, and then end seemed ridiculous, but this has definitely sparked my interest.
