A while back I read the first chapter of the manga and it didn't hook me in at all. My memories of that are a little hazy though.

The censorship really ruins the show. Its unfortunate that Deadman Wonderland isn't on AT-X. Looks like I'll be downloading the BD rips in a few months.

Well I laughed at Ganta's hearing. The way the people who tackled him and then beat the crap out of him was hilarious. I definitely didn't expect that to happen.

Damn, I was excited to see Kana Hanazawa in another role but she's doing her childish/cute voice which I'm not too fond of. The ending seemed too bright and happy for such a depressing show.

The sequence before the end showing some characters was a nice preview of the other types of people who inhabit the prison.

The setting of the anime really interests me. I'm excited for the games they have to take part; they seem bright and colourful but I'm sure some kind of gruesome fate awaits the contestants.

Am I the only one that can't stand Ganta's VA's voice in this? I think it's terrible. Sounds like she's trying to differentiate it from Edward Elric, but making it far worse.

I don't really mind it, but I haven't seen that much Full Metal Alchemist in Japanese.

Really loved the gore. The characters seems pretty good to me. I agree with Fatestayjedi that "g-cup" lady is pretty damn badass. Also, when the inmate asked her I thought it was hilarous

ive read all 8 vols that are currently available. i'm not wrong, unless they plan on going a TOTALLY different direction with the anime (i doubt it)

I meant to read the manga (I have 3 volumes just sitting there) but never got around to it. First episode was interesting enough with no prior knowledge. Should be a good series. Btw, did anyone else see Shiro's cameltoe? It was so intense I wasn't sure whether or not she was naked
