I really enjoyed it, but I don't think it's the masterpiece people make it out to be. The narration doubles back on itself a tad too much, and there's one too many main characters.
That being said, I think it really picks up after episode 13 and it had me mostly hooked until the end after that. It's tragic, watching I watched it dubbed (except for the "I am mad scientist" line; HAD to look that up on YouTube  ), and solid performances all around. Though for obvious reasons I related to Daru the most...Also, I've been mostly watching older anime, so seeing a modern one use the term OTP was amazing. :P Okabe/Christina forever, such a cute bickering little couple. |
