Wow - another pointless ending!

I hate anime when important characters die at the end. This was a great anime up until the last 3 episodes which were a mish mash of an ending and all out of order. I thought I was watching episode 20 before episode 17 or something.

And what the heck did immortality have to do with psychics and the "Accusers"????

That question remains to be answered.

I thought it was OK series but you're right , it did kind of fall apart at the end.

Sci-fi Harry was probably the biggest waste of time I've seen.. I don't even remember what was it about, I only know how bad it was to finish.. And why didn't I drop it, beats me.
So yeah, I only came here to warn people: don't watch it! xD
Sure like my opinion matters anyway, but I'll be there laughing at you ignoring my warning >.>

Episode 1:

Is it me or are these characters really ugly looking?

So it was a fairly standard boy learns he was powers episode. I don't know I laughed several times during this episode. First when Harry caught the basketball and just stood there with a what the fuck is this expression on his face for like 30 seconds. Then at when Catherine starts laughing at him when he says he gets beat up a lot... I was like what the hell bitch? Then when he bends the spoon and Catherine gets like excited. She looked like she was almost turned on by it, not to mention she had him bend like every metal object in the house. She obviously has a thing for Harry but this was a little much. Once again all of the reactions seemed so over the top and the guys that were going to rape Catherine looked laughable. Then there's the fact that Harry is beyond a wimp, he like a whole new level of shy quiet wuss.

The thing with the murders might get interesting. It looks like Harry has precognitive powers as well as telekinesis so I guess he is going to end up helping the cops after first being a suspect.

This episode came off as a bit silly and campy. Hopefully they will tone things down and I can take it a bit more seriously.

Episode 1:

It's looking good so far! =)

The mood is gritty and there are already some interesting themes involved such as bullying and retribution, as well as rape. I can't say the approach was something new but it wasn't done poorly either. It seems Harry is the kind of pathetic human being who will evolve as more episodes pass, since it seems he has some good back-up on Catherine. I liked her, my one complaint is that she didn't really seem realistic in some ways: her recovery after being nearly raped by three classmates was way too fast and her acceptance of Harry's powers was pretty much immediate. There might be a reason for her personality to be like that but so far she looks like the typical case of ''eternal optimist'', while not really placeable in that cathegory either. Anyways I liked how she cheered for Harry, at least not everyone in the cast is scum! John seemed a nice person too, but I have the feeling he might change later on.

As for the mutilated corpses, it obviously has something to do with Harry using his powers. I hope it's not every single ''time'' he uses it because after bending so many spoons and stuff he must have killed half a city lol. Anyhow, could the victims be that Chris dude or his two friends? Kind of like a psychokinesis with retarded effects. Or is it just some random secondary effect of his using his powers? If so, man, that sucks for Harry.

Episode 2:

So Harry is starting to come to terms with his powers but at the same time people are beginning to suspect of him as the one who caused all those incidents. I know Catherine wants him to be acknowledged by the rest but saying out loud (and out of the blue) that Harry has psychic powers is something I would have held off on. Her helping Harry because she sees him as the same kind of person as his brother is interesting and adds a layer to her character. Her brother is closed at home and has serious problems at establishing contact with people, so since she's incapable of changing that she's trying to make up for it through Harry. While it's all good that she's offering a helping hand, helping someone out of pity is always somewhat cruel.

Anyways, Harry can send his powers through TV and other media? That's pretty awesome, but I wonder how it works. The ''psychic waves'' go through the cables? Well, it may be something more ethereal than that, maybe they'll leave it as it is and move on.

It does seem that people are killed randomly when he uses his powers. The question is, when will Harry notice this and what will he do?

Episode 2

This episode was a big improvement on the first one. It does look like people get killed as an unintended consequence of Harry using his power. However this seems a little too obvious and I think there is some else at play here. John seemed to put things together a little too quickly for someone who doesn't even believe in psychic powers at first. I think part of it is his jealously over Catherine spending all her time with Harry.

Harry's power only seems to work when he around Catherine. She a caring, accepting girl and probably the first person to ever show him any kindness, it makes sense that he would start to fall for her. Especially when she leaves John behind and starts spending all of her time with him.

Lots of interesting elements at play here. We've got the series of deaths that Harry is likely responsible for. Although there was a suspicious looking woman at one of the crime scenes. Then there is the TV producer that is going to trying and exploit Harry. Then there is John and his growing suspicions about Harry, he could end up causing a lot of trouble with his accusations especially if there is something else going on with the murders.

This episode didn't have any over the top silliness. It had a much more grounded feeling and was much more enjoyable.
