Actually, I knew exactly what I was saying, and I said it clearly, if briefly. I suggest being careful in the future of accusing people of ignorance if you aren't completely sure you have mastery of the subject under discussion. My point is pretty simple, if we want to say of the sentence "Air Sucks," that it expresses a proposition, then that proposition is going to be about how he feels in respect to the show. And moreover, unless he's lying, it's also going to be true. Sure, he could provide additional information about why that proposition is true, which would be constituted by facts about his particular psychology (tastes), but it doesn't at all follow that he needs to provide those other facts. In the same way, you could say that "Air is wonderful and does not suck." and the proposition that sentence expresses would also be true, if you aren't lying.

The only way fruit, or you for that matter, would need to offer justification for a sentence like "Air sucks!" would be if you accepted an analysis under which Suckness is some kind of objective value property such that some things have the property of sucking, and other do not, independent of anyone's particular tastes. And in that case, you would need to provide reasons why Air happens to have the property of suckiness. But this is an absurd position that no one in their right mind would adopt, so it isn't necessary to provide any justification for why sentences of this kind are true, if they are true. If this isn't clear to you, then just think of sentences like "Air Sucks" as analogous to sentences like "Vanilla ice cream is terrible." They don't need to be justified because they're nothing more than expressions about the tastes of an individual.

and Fruitsbasket, I decided I had been tortured enough with Slam Dunk, and it wasn't worth proving my point to watch another episode lol. So I sent it into the abyss forever and it's never coming back.

The story elements are mostly faithful, though they did change a couple of things like yakuza to "nice people" mainly to avoid the yakuza thing (as to why, well, they do weird things in terms of censorship at times in Japan). I'm also not too happy about the hack n' slash they did to the chronology of Hayate, throwing everything out of order and extending the time frame (the first Valentine's Day in Hayate occurred in Vol 5, so everything from Vol 1-5 happened in 1.5 months).

I think it is one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever seen. They way their souls are connected is incredible. I love Misuzu, she's really strong inside, despite her physical weekness. And Yukito makes a great main male character. I loved the way the story is depicted in the movie and the two episodes from the summer special were really funny. But the anime and the movie made me cry a lot... it was sad, but, yet, hopeful.

Hi there! I just finished watching AIR, and there are a few questions I would like to ask because I didn't understand the story much due to too much crying

I believe that everything gets wrapped up in the game version of AIR, but since I don't have it...

Thanks for answering!

I just got done watching this series, I saw the movie some time ago and I started watching this, it was a great show, had a good ending and was heart touching through out, I wish that the ending was such a downturn though (emotionally) although
