I don't know about this show. Everyone in the show seems half asleep, and their eyes kind of bother me. Seems like the show might be pretty good though. The OP and ED weren't bad, but they didn't fit with the show.

After reading the first eight chapters of the manga on Viz's website, here, I pretty much was in love.

The first episode was a bit slow, but overall I really, really loved this. And I'm very glad it's been licensed and will therefore have consistent subs out.

O man I really enjoyed that first episode. The animation reminded me a lot of Natsume Yuujinchou, in fact this show is eerily similar in both atmosphere, story, and characters. The character design is going to take a bit to get used to, but it's not bad... it's just different, It's almost like they took the animation style from Natsume Yuujinchou and slapped some Gorillaz flare to it.

Looks really promising, I love the mellow feel of this one.

I think this show might end up being decent. The first episode was ok, I guess. Loved the OP, ED was ok. And as Garyuu said, they didn't really fit the mood of the show.

pretty cool show. I kept getting a Red Garden vibe in the artwork... must be the noses... oh and Ristorante Paradiso. I'm looking forward to this show for sure.

eh. They sure know how to make people look ugly in this show. Reminded me of Basilisk, though not as bad. Decent first ep, will wait and see where it goes.

Five leaves is from Natsume Ono, the same mangaka who did RisPara, which is why it looks familiar. :)

I personally love the art style because it's a bit different, reminds me of a sort of trendy european style. Seriously loving this show so far, it was the one series I was particulalrly looking forward to this season and so far it isn't disapointing me. I agree though that the OP and ED songs don't seem to fit the mood.

Can't wait for the next episode.
