Anyone else besides me watching this?

I think they are really doing a great job with respect to the original. I really like the new OP and ED. I think the new OST is really good and makes the show even more enjoyable than the original.

They also cut out all the fillers and powering up will only take 1/3 as long as it used to ;)

A second or two of "new" animation can be seen in some of the episodes as well, drawn to resemble the old animation style of course.

I think that Ep 52 was even more Epic with

Goku fighitng Frieza and Frieza being cut in half finally

in combination with this new OST.

Thoughts? Comments?

I was so excited when it was slated to start airing. I had been thinking of rewatching some of DBZ, but this saved me from that. I watched until episode 15 and got tired of the completely awful subs, late releases (sometimes over a 2 weeks late), etc. I might have just not known about good groups who were doing it, but I was not pleased. I just recently thought about the show and found out that some groups are staying up to date now, releasing awesome quality subs. I am hoping to get back on it soon.

I have watched clips but growing up with the dub makes it hard to watch the subs.
Krillin = Luffy... it bothered me, alot.

Haha yeah, I grew up with the dubs too, but after watching the subs long enough I got used to it, eventually. Goku's high pitched voice did take a while though heh.

I started watching the dub on Nickolodeon but they cut too many things out so there is almost no blood so i stopped watching it but i do wait for blu-ray releases to come out because they are uncut

Even thou this is great i think i prefer the old version with all the fillers, even thou some where lame alot of them i thought where good and made it more fun to watch. I ended up buying the full dvd box sets for all of dragonball (aka orignal, z, gt) and i would much rather spend the extra cash on all those extra dvds filled with fillers than buy kai when it comes out on dvd and get alot less.

Yeah I prefer the old version since I grew up with that (I also own all the DBZ Orange Boxes) but its nice to see it a little cleaned up and a little faster paced. Plus I really like the new soundtrack that they are using (Japanese Version)

I don't know about the American dub that released on Nicktoons as I do not get that station =( I did however listen to the American OP and my ears did bleed a little -_-

Might just be me though since I am partial to J-rock. Have to catch up with the newest Japanese Eps though, been stuck at Ep 63 for a while since I have been busy watching all the other new Anime that have come out this quarter.
