And here's to the start of the Fall 2009!

Overall, as a first episode, it seems like it'll be a much, much darker series then the first one. And the fights will be the usual fights but I sense a lot of backstabbing fixing to go down. And the current Queen, ain't she the little devil?

I literally, ALMOST, died laughing when the Heaven lady told Nanael that now she's back in heaven, she has to go back down and actually participate in Queen's Blade. That was probably the funniest part in the whole episode.

The introduction of that new character, the long haired brunette that was nearly tentacle raped, looks pretty attractive. Probably the most attractive in the whole series now. My guess is she works for the Queen and is a demon herself.

Yes! What a great way to kick off Fall 2009!

Ep 1:

Nanael's the BEST. Very funny stuff. Nowa's antics in the city also brought a lot of lol's.

Overall, the first ep was very good. All the old characters were re-visited, and a couple new ones have been introduced. Amid the generous oppai and pantsu was the setup of what seems to be a tale of intrigue and betrayal. Sounds interesting...

I practically cried when I read the first sentence of Carlo's review of the first episode on ANN.

For an anime all about females wearing as little as possible and losing most of it while fighting, this isn't half bad. I'm actually enjoying this. The op isn't half bad either. I'm going to try and find a HD clean opening video and make it into a deskscape.

I kind of want to see these series, but when I tried I was instantly busted by my IP provider.
