I do have one major complaint I forgot to mention and that is that horrible way they all say Beatrice. Thank god Virgilia should sound better, but I think I'm going to cringe whenever they say any of the Stakes' names (poor Belphegor and Asmodeus are really gonna sound bad). Or Ronove. Then again I can't wait to hear Ange yell all their names out . . . I must be a masochist . . . ;p

For those who are wondering about the names too, if you pay attention you'll notice a trend in the Ushiromiya family's names and who follows and who doesn't follow the trend (just like who wears the one-winged eagle can tell you a bit). The names of characters yet to come are taken from Divine Comedy and Higurashi . . . in fact, two names are lifted right from Higurashi, though it may take a bit to notice . . .

Just watched the second ep. Great stuff.
This might turn out much better than Higurashi.

She first appears after the Tea Party in Legend, but I highly doubt they will show the events after the 1st Tea Party in the anime (in fact I'm 50/50 whether or not they will show the Tea Party or whether they will leave the viewers completely in the dark about what happens outside the chessboard until When They Cry 4). I hope they don't cuz that means Ange won't get a turn.

Otherwise the character you're asking about first appears on the chessboard after the 10th twilight in Turn. Again though, they might not choose to show the events after the 10th twilight. We shall see . . .

I got over it in Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!. I guess the Japanese misunderstand the Italian pronunciation?

lol just when I was like "man, the little girl's gonna be annoying" the mom slaps the crap outta her which I found pretty funny. Gonna watch episode 2, the show seems pretty interesting.

Episode 3

I'm starting to think this series might be best watched in a marathon, or atleast as a couple of episodes each time. It was a good episode, but it didn't really brought much new on the table (except for the ending scene, which was kinda to be expected)

It was nice to see Maria show some more of her "real" self though. I wonder how long will it take for everyone to start believing that Beatrice is actually out there... And some of the text made me wonder, will this When They Cry series also have time repeat itself? I think it would be interesting to have Battler be the person to recall the events. Well, all just speculations, I wonder how it will play out ^_^

Not bad for a third ep. I'm glad they kept Eva as pushy and crude as she was in the original, and I'm also glad they used "sirabe oche" in the kitchen. Now though I wonder where the fourth episode will end. Right before they hear Maria singing? Right before the next letter? Or will they make it all the way to the tenth twilight? If they make it to Maria singing then that would leave little for ep 5 to work with so hopefully they will put in the tea party too . . .

They really cut out a ton this time though. At least they left in the scorpion charm. There's also two new characters in this episode, Lucifer and Leviathan. Wonder if anyone noticed them . . .

I can guess, but I have little to no idea what you mean with "chess boards". All these unknown things just add to the whole When They Cry feeling
