Hahaha, good thing it wasn't much of a spoiler anyway :P
Well, it's been a while since I've read the visual novel, so I don't remember the details. But basically, I'll definitely be reading the whole thing again by the end of the summer, that thing is EPIC. |

It was a bit too brutal for my taste, but I enjoyed it very much, even though vampires aren't really my cup of tea.
I liked the way the couple developped and the mystery surrounding each episode. It was hard to stop watching it. Altough it was short, the storyline was great and concentrated, so that it never bores you. The ending was just the way I like it: sad, but hopeful. |

the 'brown haired chick' is Yumizuka Satsuki, and I think we are led to believe in that exchange she told Shiki about her feelings for him, but he rejected her. In the Visual Novel (not a H-game, just has some scenes in it) Yumizuka Satsuki disappears quite near the beginning, and so is not there at the end of the story at all.
Also in the Visual novel, it depends what ending you complete as to where Ciel ends up, but generally, after the death of Roa, she 'atones' and has a good ending. just a side note the anime doesn't really folow the Visual Novel story at all, (what are you talking about Lucky?), but I think it is a fun way to explore the Tsukihime universe a bit more. The best part for me was hen they take the day trip to the amusement park, doesn't happen in the VN but it was fun to see all of the light side of the moon characters interacting with each other. anyway if you like the Anime then then you will love the VN, especially the endings not touched upon like Hisui's and Kohaku's. |

oh and also all 3 'games', Tsukihime, Kagetsu Toya (the sequel) and Melty Blood, were ALL made by Type Moon. Melty Blood was a co-operative effort between them and another Dojin group called 'French-Bread'

This is an old post, but I'll throw my thought in:
1. I was under the impression that he just developed the ability having been so close to death. His history, etc had nothing to do with it. Rather, he just was so close to death, he became aware of the lines which holds the fragility of life together or something. It's highly possible I interpreted that totally wrong. 2. I thought she had a name and was slightly more important in the game, but she serves the same role of giving Shiki his glasses so he can live a normal life and set him down the road of preserving rather than destroying life. 3. Putting this under a spoiler tag since I essentially discuss the ending: or maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic. |
