I just started this series a bit ago and I'm loving it! So I figure it was worth sharing. I am up to ep 7 right now and it is pretty fun to watch.

Anyone else have thoughts on this series who is watching or has watched it?

One of the best mecha shows I've seen because it doesn't try to be more than what it is. It's a simple adventure that does enough to make it an enjoyable ride without trying too hard. It's so sad to see a shounen mecha show try and fail to try and be 'thought provoking' or 'deep' or all that other nonsense that always fails when you have a crying teenage boy who magically finds a super god mech and becomes the world's best pilot as your focal point.

So that means the show isn't very good in mecha fans' eyes. But I liked it. And that's all that matters to me. ;p

It seems more like an pirate adventure/ action show with mecha on the side and not in the spot light all the time. I'm liking how its set up also.

ep 13

The costume welcome party in the ep was sweet! Who would have the thought that pirates on a pirate submarine would dress like pirates at a costume party. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at this :p

I just finished up with ep 26 a bit ago. The entire series was pretty consistent in its flow and made it enjoyable to watch. Im glade I ended picking up this show :p

The only major part I wasn't to happy with was when the ship got captured in ep 24/25. I figured something like that was coming but it was a little late in the series to have it be done. It felt like the series grinded to a half till the last half of ep 26 when everyone was rescued.

Overall I was happy with the series and would defiantly watch it again. 3/5
