K-On!

i have heard a lot of people down k-on as derivative and nothing new.....well it's a school comedy and slice of life sort of...so what can be expected to be so different ....kids go to school have small personal problems and have fun...there are school festivals and summer vacations ....what can be expected from this type of anime....giant robos???? no k-on is what it is supposed to be and any criticism of the copying of other school anime applies to every anime made after what ever was the first school anime.

i don't even think you are understanding what i wrote as i never said it was a bad thing that they were coping from other anime.... if anything that aspect made this watchable as it became a game to spot the references

I enjoyed the series on a whole but wasn't overly impressed by it.
Still, did have a couple laughs, mainly from the looks on some of the girl's faces. :)

Defiantly needs a second series. If not for anything but including all five main characters in the outro.
Would have much preferred them to sing the outro in the final concert but only because the song was better. Though it would have ruined the awesome plot and plot twist in that episode.

And probably quite a few other episodes since they relied on "lol sore throat" as plot advancement to much.

Wasn't a bad show at all really. It kinda hit the spot for what I was in the mood for at the time.

Also, if I were the type to want to have sex with animated highschool girls, I would likely want to do it with Mio. But it's okay because I'd lie and tell her I love her and stuff, and then afterwards I would say something like "We have to break up, I don't really love you because I'm gay." Except I really wouldn't be, I just said that so I could get into her pants and lying is okay so long as the hurt parties as equally as confused. You see, pain and confusion have a way of canceling each other out.

Then afterwards I'd probably hit my buddies up for a beer or something. :)

But yeah, pretty decent show, huge on the moe factor and it went so far as to have not one, but *two* beach episodes.

I expected this to be as boring and as much of a waste of time as Lucky Star but i got a few laughs and it was pretty decent, kinda gives you a warm feeling inside as you watch it. Not my favorite but definitely not one of the worse ones i've watched

I very much enjoyed it, I kind of felt the anime was very inspiring since I'd like to be in a band myself XD, but overall I though the anime was a nice relaxed one. It had its cute and funny moments which I enjoyed. I also love Azusa XD she was very uplifting I think.

But it all comes down to personal opinions, just give it a go, if you dont like it then move on to something else.
