Oh you're right I misread again. Well in that case I really can't find anything to laugh about in my first post... I mean, if it's only one part of the series, I think it's fair for me to say that I thought they spent too much time on this particular aspect, and focus more on the other aspects (namely, the characters).

Anyhow, yeah the scenes with Atosuryua are all great. Episode 6 is definitely my favourite of the series, I can't wait until you get there, I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

Episode 2: Admiral Spoor definately seems far more interesting this season, and I agree that the crew of Lafiel's ship seem intriguing.

Wow, Febdash's sister should be interesting, can't wait to see where they go with this, could be an interesting confrontation. Also, the interaction between the President of the planet and Spoor were certainly interesting.

Awesome, cool.

I just watched ep 3, and

it kinda just continues. Again, more of a transition episode. I see now what Fireaxe meant by too many space battles. It seems the war is looming and it's looming and it's looming and there are intermittent battles. I'm kinda missing the 'I WILL BE WITH YOU LAFIEL!!!' attitude in the first episode. To be fair, it's only 3rd episode, I'm just a very impatient kind of person.

Yeah, this one seems like just lead up to a battle scene or something, it was cool to meet Febdash's sister but I was hoping for more interesting interaction, looking forward to the next episode.

Remember that it's originally novels and the author is basically an über nerd who even invented a language. So if they've condensed all the other stuff into the first season there had to be one about tactics!

Not if you like this stuff. It makes way more sense than in most similar shows, and if you've tried to relate events in normal space (like a roleplayer) the 2D variant is genius.

That's how old-fashioned wars work! It started with Gauthloth and Lamhirh had enough time for her training between the seasons. What's looming is the huge battle in the current campaign, and it's not even sure whether Basrogrh's small inexperienced unit will be in it.

That ep also made clear that they imply this more than non-stop tell each other, especially with the crew around. It's part of the culture, and I like it. You already had her mum acting that way, and there's more to come.
