Ignore my last question, I asked too soon...

Yep, starting Monday it'll be one episode per day, it'll be good old fashioned fun. Over the web?

This show was awesome! It does start off a little slow, but it was sooo good near the end. I'm reading the novels now. I'm almost done with the first book, and I just ordered the second one. There are actually quite a few characters they added in the show that never existed.

I recommend to the people who like the show to read the books. When you finish the show you will understand.

In my opinion it should have continued way into the 100s, there was so much more room for character dev and plots! Still enjoyed it thoroughly!

Loved this show! I'm reading the novels as well, but there only up to vol. 2 here in the states. I do wish they would hurry up I want to know what happens past the anime.

Episode 1:

Wow, a LOT happened in this one episode. I think I'm going to like it a lot and inevitably compare it to Escaflowne in my head because of the 'girl in another world' premise. The saddest thing is that the girl who wants to disappear into a fantasy land is refused and the girl who has no interest in it gets to experience it all. I felt sorry for Sugimoto. Very sorry, bless her.

You know that this thread is for Find Your Anime Buddy!? Though discussion is welcome.

Episode 1:

I agree, that this does seem a bit like Escaflowne so far, though that could change very fast. So far though, I haven't liked the character's personalities all that much, I would like to see Yohko (Taking the main site's spelling) take more initiative. Lastly I disagree with Vivi saying a lot has happened, it seems as if things have barely started so far, this episode has only concluded the transition between worlds.

Hmmm, it's just a case of a lot of characters/creatures have been introduced and we've come across not only Yohko's insecurity about her hair, but also Sugimoto, who seems like she might be a bit of a dark horse. Then there's the guy. Then there's the white-haired dude. The fight, the sword, the eagle, that watery thing that went inside her...

It is actually a lot of detail. I didn't feel overwhlemed by it, but, for example, if you compare it to Escaflowne, there is far less stuff in the first episode. And my comparisons will only be shallow. I've heard lots about Twelve Kingdosm and it sounds like it'll have very little in common with Escaflowne, but since that's all I've got... lol.
