The animation for it's time was very good. It was just so short lived. It sorta changed the personalities of Rally and May, from the manga,in my book. There is also the void of a certain Bean Bandit, but this is understandable seeing that it only scratches the surface of the series. At least it had Becky.
Also missing was the police agent Roy, and he is replaced by that shady "agent".

All that, and it still has some great car chases and the Cobra Mustang makes it very much worth the watch.

If seeing it and enjoying it, it is very much worth the while to read the manga.

this one was actually quiet good, should have been a 13 episode tv series instead of a 3ep ova I think.

Short yet still an awesome anime. It created a perfect atmosphere for its setting and the artwork was wonderful.

Yeah, this is one of my favorites. With it being so short you don't learn much about the characters, so I highly suggest picking up the manga. Don't forget GSC Burst too. The 5th and final volume of it hits next month. Another cool thing about the GSC manga is that in the 4th and final volume of the omnibus you get the 4 chapters of Riding Bean.

If you want guns and cars with accuracy on both, GSC is the go to series. Kenichi Sonoda is both a gun nut and gearhead. And the way he draws women is nice too.

Man, a 26 episode series of the manga would have been sweet. Same opening animation would be just fine, love that opening.

Still have yet to see Burst 4 or 5. I did enjoy 1-3. The stories evolving Percy and the car race were superb. (funny too, in Riding Bean it was Percy who got the GT500 not Rally)

That reminds me.

Also there is the one shot anime Riding Bean. Car chases, 80's rock and roll soundtrack and gunplay. It has Rally in it, although her roll is quite different. She is a partner to a Transporter. (still good with guns)
