i've started watching gintama so far i watched 2 eps, it's really boring, i don't know if i will drop it; my question is, does it get better after some episodes?

We didn't really see Hinowa in this video :s I love how she's bossing Gintoki around.
When (if) Gintama's back on air I hope they bring Tsukuyo back a lot. I was surprised they gave her such big... Jackpot!

In episode181, the same one when she gets drunk.

Stick to it! At the begining I wasn't really getting into the anime, I didn't find it very funny or didn't get to know the characters, but I didn't give up and after some more episodes (maybe around ten, could take you less or more, it depends on each person) I started laughing hard and loving the characters. Don't worry, the best is yet to come, epic battles, hilarious humour, the development of some of the greatest characters in anime history... And some really badass too (Takasugi and Kamui ).

Very few people like ep 1-2, it was just a filler to present the characters.

The real deal starts in episode 3, and it just keeps getting better and better.

Definitely stick to it. If after episode 25 you have't laughed then you have a serious pro-- I mean, then you can conclude the humour is not your thing.

Tsukuyo is my 2nd favorite arc;

Ketsuno Ana Arc
Tsukuyo Arc
Shinsengumi Rebellion Arc

are my favorite arcs, in that order.

My order would be:

1) Shinsengumi Arc
2) Kabukicho Arc (manga only for now!)
3) Benizakura Arc
4) Yoshiwara Arc
5) Bentendo Owee Arc (roflmao)

Then there are lots of other arcs that deserve a good mention: Tsukuyo, Haunted Springs, Tama Quest, Kyubee... The list is huge.

I stalled this anime (to my shame) for MONTHS at around 10 or so because i didn't find it all that interesting. (or funny)

I'll tell you this... if you can somehow make it into the mid 20's and you aren't laughing your head off then this just isn't for you.

I think it was around ep 12-25 or so that the humor and characters finally "clicked" with me. Once they did i couldn't stop watching it. (i think the first ep i laughed straight through was the ep "Elizabeth" first appeared.. then one that cinched it was when Sa-chan appeared)

Just pure gold.


-Now when i go back at watch the first 20 or so eps i'm laughing my head off (except for ep 1-2), it just took me a little to figure out the extremely bizarre humor in this anime and get connected to the characters (it starts really rough)
