Best. Analogy. Ever.

Anyways, I'm late watching this episode as my friend gets pissed when I watch it without her. The whore made me wait. So, here are my thoughts and "concerns"

I spent most of this episode confused as hell. I like to think I can stay with the program and I tried but spent most of the episode going "Wha?". It wasn't until Charles and Marianne were disappearing that I finally understood exactly what they were trying to accomplish to begin with. For a minute I thought that they were actually the good guys and that Lelouch, Suzaku, and C.C. were going to join them against Schneizel (which would have been pretty fucking awesome, in my opinion).

And how did Nunnelly end up under Marianne? One minute they're alone at night, the next minute they're surrounded by guards and courtiers gasping in horror in broad daylight. It was like a B movie where they pause the film to replace all the actual actors with not so look-alike look-alikes.

To plunge that "WTF?" feeling deeper into the miasma of confusion we have a very sudden jump into the future where Odysseus is addressing Lelouch as though he's been a very naughty toddler rather than someone who has just tried to destroy the entire empire.

"Okay, Lelouch. Ha ha ha. Joke's over. But we're so glad you're okay."
"You don't get it, Bro. I'm here to get this party started."
"Hahaha, they're so precocious at this age, aren't they?"

was the feeling I got from that conversation. We've always known Odysseus is kind of...well...gay...but come on.

I was disappointed to say the least to find out Marianne was actually an evil accomplice. I knew in my gut even in season 1 that she was still alive. I never believed C.C. was talking to herself and always felt that somehow, Marianne was not dead. To find out that she was just wanting to basically destroy the world was a crushing blow, I have to say.

I am now wondering what is left for the series? Lelouch killed Charles, doing Schneizel a huge favor; one that Schneizel actually sent Suzaku to do. So, what's the beef? Will the next few episodes be about Schneizel planning a banquet in Lelouch's honor to express his gratitude or what? Of course, I can see how Lelouch claiming the throne would kind of piss Schneizel off but now it's on Schneizel to overthrow Lelouch? Sheesh, they'll need a season 3 for all that.

I was excited to hear that Nunally is alive. Or at least I assume she is based on Odysseus' comment "When we found Nunally we knew there was still hope." That was probably the best thing that came out of this episode for me.

Yeah I thought so too
When they were explaining it, I was like "Oh so is Lelouch going to join them" but then Lelouch is like "Your wrong because blah blah blah!" and I was like.. Ahh, makes sense..... lets continue.

This part...
I'm about 94.27% sure that they rewrote the memories and put the people there with Marianne's body, and then shot the windows out. The part where it doesn't make sense is V.V. keeping it a secret from Charles, who was the one who rewrote the memories. Unless there was some other geass user with a similar power as Charles.

I'm not sure that anyone else in the royal family was away that Lelouch was Zero, so he was just like "Oh, hey, we found you! So happy to see you because we haven't seen you since we shipped you off to Japan and had thought you died while we were taking it over..... sorry about that, heh"

Meh..
Marianne was in the series for one whole episode.. actually, not even that. Flashbacks don't count. There wasn't enough time to get all attached and making judgments about her character before they threw it out the window..

I think Schneizel is pretty pissed that Lelouch is 1) alive and 2)stole the chair he was going to steal. Pretty sure they're going to try to overthrow Lelouch.. in the amount of episodes though? I donno

Nunally isn't alive.. they were talking about when Nunally took governorship over Area 11, before that, they thought she was dead, but once she came out and was like "I wanna play politics" they figured Lelouch was going to be alive somewhere as well.. and his line right there only adds support to the they didn't know Lelouch==Zero thing.

THATS ALL!

except:

I found this out today
pretty head esploding
or not depending on who you are

Code Geass 23

I'll keep saying this; this show is a wreck.

It doesn't have a clue where it's heading. They're just throwing in twists for the sake of it, and while it has been amusing I'm starting to get a little bit irritated.

I totally agree with you there!

I bet all the directors are just like "I bet it would be fun if we do this instead but I don't really have a reason to why we should do this but let's just do it."

But I did get the prediction right about Nunnally still being alive and the other prince being a "bad" guy :P

I officially hate this show. Remember a few episodes back when Charles told Lelouch it would be a war for the world? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THAT PLOT POINT. WHY CAN'T THEY JUST STICK TO ONE FREAKIN TWIST INSTEAD OF CAUSING YOU TO FORGET IT WITH A NEW ONE EVERY F*CKING EPISODE! This show sucks.

I could stand the ridiculous random plot twists before, but this is just too much.

Why is Lelouch suddenly deciding that he wants every person in the world to hate him? He acts like a douche to Kallen after she kisses him, he takes the UNF hostage...does he just want to die? Nunnaly being alive...that's retarded. I'm dropping this show.

ps- The Knight of One died after fighting with Suzaku for thirty seconds. DADADA

K after watching episode 22 i have this to say

pffffftttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

This show is going downhill quickly, like other say i don't think the director and writers have any idea where they are taking this, and just making crap up as they go allong. Y oh y did they have to do this to a good show

Disapointments in this episode

1. Lelouches outfit is hideous
2. Lelouches re-aquaitance with Kallen was shit
3. Nunaly returnig is a load o crap
4. Y is Nina still here and y are they having screen time of her trying to repent.
5. Generaly this show is going tits up

i have to say i did like suzakus uniform, with the big shoulders head piece and cloak when you see him standing by lelouch.

Real easy to jump on the hate bandwagon eh? I'd prefer to watch the last episodes and see the whole picture before judging the show.
(Didnt mean for it to sound so hostile, so i added a cow and a pickle that fixes everything right?)

It's not jumping on the bandwagon when this show does officially suck now. This had to be the worst episode of the entire series, but it's following the trend set by the last episodes. (ie random plot with no sense of direction)

They really should just end this show with the world exploding.
