Episode 2

Damn, I was so hoping they wouldn't make this into a Geass battle, but with now three people having it on the second episode I suspect that even more will come. Other than that it was a great episode, finally got this "epic"-feeling when he announced that he has returned.

Yea, episode 2 was a good one. If they continue the series with this many surprises throughout, it'll be even better then the first season.

I agree with vonpost:
I was hoping there wouldn't be so many people around with Geass, but now they seem to spring out of the woodwork, left, right and centre. Also, the angled ecchi shots of Kallen in her mecha are really starting to **** me off.

Right now, nothing would make me happier than Suzaku dying. Dying painfully. He may have gotten some backbone, but his attitude is really, really annoying.

I don't mind the geass free give away, but I do agree with Vivi; Suzaku's death would please me. Although you know it's probably not going to happen anytime soon =/

Episode 2 (warning, image)

Needless to say I screamed a little. >.> I knew the emperor had Geass from the opening last week, but Rollo was a surprise. I do hope he's the last to get it though.
Also, was I the only one who thought the scene with Suzaku turning Lelouch over to the emperor was hot? (That could just have been the vicious fangirl in me though...)

I'm really a fan of Suzaku, I really dislike Lelouche.

It might just be, that somehow, just because he tells his men where to go, they can somehow outperform trained professional soldiers in combat. But nevermind, that's all forgettable when Suzaku turns up and wrecks him.

As for season 2.

What's with all the Kallen Fanservice? My lord they couldn't put in any more if they tried, but nevermind, not complaining. Now, Rollo with Geass? That DOES interest me. The idea of more geasses being around open up some real interesting doors. However. Judging by the last series it's almost as if they make up half the plot on the fly. "lol that sounds cool put it in". So I guess we'll see as the series goes on. So far, enjoying it.

meh that is kind of questionable, but ill attribute it to the fact that Lelouch has epic charisma and gives all his minions +10 atk and def while leading them. =P

He is a really fast thinker and his charisma is huge... People don't question his orders... Also, most of the time he is watching the blueprints and so on to guide his men...

Too much Fanservice! Way to much Fanservice! Stop that... <_<
In Code Geass 1 they did not do such a thing... With this much Fanservice it will be a less good anime then 1... Anyways, still a interesting episode... Action already... 1 was a little slower in the start.

Absolutely. I have a visceral loathing for that character. At one point I found myself yelling "YOU'RE SUCH A ****ING TWAT!" at the screen.

As for my general impression of the 2nd ep, I agree with all the ANN reviews. It's ridiculously cheesy, laughably over-the-top (even more than the first series) and yet I still find it incredibly compelling. Roll on the next episode.

Yea its funny how this show is so over the top, it has been since S1, but its good somehow. The whole ZOMG im Zero protector of those without power always seemed really cheesy to me, but I couldn't stop watching it
