I grasp the anime.

I grasp that it's turned into dirt.

okay, good point.

But, this anime used to actually have some thought in it.

I think I need to stop ranting about it, I'm annoying myself...

I have a pretty bad feeling that this episode won't be very good. Episode 23 that is, lets hope my premonition isn't true ....

Have faith! With two or three episodes to go, there is plenty of room to redeem itself, right? Right????

Um... what? I am sitting here in the hope that this series redeems itself, but see it as unlikely. And yes, it does seem kinda obvious to me that, if R2 does run along the lines it's been going, then R2 will in fact be Ruined Forever. If it doesn't, then it won't be. Luckily, I see S1 as a somewhat separate entity and thus whatever R2 does, ti won't have any bearing on how I feel about S1. Anyway, is that really something worth linking a sarcastic website for? :/

Episode 23
So, this episode had many flaws, but it didn't really bother me. If you make an effort you can actually enjoy this upcoming end, despite the many errors the show committed.
That being said, it's not like the show redeemed itself, it was very Geass-like as usual, with a lot of stupid elements.

There's some things that disturbs me though.

Nina gets the role of the 'saviour', bullshit I say.

Lelouch. His authority seems non-existent, and he's far from the ruler that Charles was.
I just can't picture him as the Emperor of Britannia, no matter how hard I try.

And, if I understood it right, it seems as if Viletta is pregnant with Ougi's child. That's not cool.

Schneizel. I loved Schneizel earlier, I thought he was rather charismatic. But in this episode he lost like all value he ever had as a villain, and now he's plain boring.
"The ends justify the means". Never heard that one before, Schneizel.

Finally, Nunally. What's her purpose, really? She came in with that dramatic entrance, and just as quickly she got an unimportant role, again.

But the scene
where C.C holds Lelouch's hand was quite cute, to be honest. I liked it.
