Meh. Number 6 was average in my opinion. Too light-hearted to really act as a segway into the grand finale. I think I'm biased as viewing Azaka as a side character anyway.

And what was with the random space flower thing anyway?

The sixth movie disappointed me. =/ I sort of wish the movies all had different entries on here so I could rate them separately. My ratings are always kind of harsh, but I wouldn't rate any of the Kara no Kyoukai movies under 3 stars.

If I could, I would rate them all like this:

Chapter one: 4.5/5
Chapter two: 4/5
Chapter three: 4.5/5
Chapter four: 4/5
Chapter five: 5/5
Chapter six: 3/5

I'm so excited for the seventh movie, but at the same time I'm kind of sad that it will be over. D=

If anyone is wondering, the seventh movie is supposedly released on the 9th of December. [DVD] ????????????? (?) [CD????] / ??? - Neowing

Only one more month and two days...

Loved the final movie!

I was kinda hoping they would re-introduce the music track from the start of the first movie which recurred throughout the series, but I guess the music was awesome in its own right :)

Any word on when the epilogue comes out?

Not sure about the epilogue, don't think there will be one. They officially, kinda closed it at the end of the movie after the credits. Which was pretty well done too I might add. I've never been happier with an anime series then with this.

Great last movie. 5 is still my fave of them all but think 7 is a close 2nd.

As Quizap said they finished it all off after the credits so can't see them doing an Epilogue.

Epilogue of Kara no Kyoukai To Be Released - Forums - MyAnimeList.net

I agree it would seem unnecessary because they wrapped the story up very well (I did see after the credits), but I guess they felt otherwise?

Still don't see why an epilogue is necessarily needed. I found everything was explained quite well. Sure, you have to have some really good thought comprehension for that as well if you're not familiar with the novels but overall, I see an epilogue as not needed.

I don't want to say something big, but I wasn't terribly impressed by movie 7. I was really hoping to get a good wrap-up to the series, a huge climax, and maybe an epilogue. Instead, it was really just another story, even if it's one that focuses on the relationship.

The series ended up getting a 4.5/5 star from me, but only reluctantly now, as I was hoping for it to fight for a place in the 5 star series. (Also my 150th anime, purely by coincidence ><)

Well, and Satsujin Kousatsu Go is over.

Unlike what some people think, I never actually got around to reading the stories before Fukan Fuukei came out and decided to hold off reading it in the middle (Higurashi was really the only time I went in the middle of a show and that was because I already guessed the killer then), so I don't really have comments on the overall accuracy. Though knowing TYPE-MOON, I am willing to bet a good lot got left out. Even I felt there were big holes in this series without knowing the story, and knowing how convoluted a TYPE-MOON work is doesn't dispel me of this belief.

Anyhoo, this ending was a pretty good way to go out. It hit all the marks it needed to. I did begin to notice the "pre-rendered" backgrounds a lot though and it got a bit annoying. It was nice to see Kajiura try to do some brand new tracks (at least for her).

I've never been a great fan of TYPE-MOON for their stories so much as their characters (should be obvious given how much I like Fujino/Kohaku/Sakura, Azaka/Akiha, Ciel, Bazett, Caren), and the "story-intense" episodes in this were still not up to par from what I expect from TYPE-MOON (more likely due to it being animated), so it should be reasonably obvious why I rate the episodes as I do below.

1) Tsuukaku Zanryuu - Despite their butchered take on appys, Sakura . . . err, Fujino is a given to take a top spot for me
2) Satsujin Kousatsu Zen - A great introduction to Shiki and Shiki. Felt like a dream
3) Boukyaku Rokuon - Akiha . . . err, Azaka gets a high spot too. And her personality was a much needed kick to the story after a run in with Araya
4) Satsujin Kousatsu Go - Beautiful way to end the story
5) Garan no Dou - Again, despite some of the bad medicine, the introduction of Shiki was done well
6) Fukan Fuukei - Lacking in story, but a wonderful intro
7) Mujun Rasen - Tried way too hard to be "deep," ruining the introduction of Araya.

Overall there's not much more to say different than I've said for Satsujin Kousatsu Zen and Tsuukaku Zanryuu. A very good episode (the top 5 are excellent, the bottom two are still good to decent).

The series, and Satsujin Kousatsu Go, get

and remain on the list.

With regards to the epilogue, I doubt it will be Kara no Kyoukai. I bet it will be Mirai Fukuin. Though I've not read the stories, I do know of them given I pick up these things following TYPE-MOON. Mirai Fukuin is the most likely candidate given Mana is in it. Shizune Seo also returns (fans of Tsukihime should recognize the Seo name, as well as many of the characters in KnK). It really is amazing how much of Tsukihime was lifted from this. As to who Mana is, I would recommend not looking her up and wait for the epilogue to show. It'll be a worthwhile surprise . . .

To be honest I thought the epilogue would be an intro to Decoration Disorder Disconnection given all the other "major" TYPE-MOON works have been animated except for this.

Now I have to find some hard-copies of the story. I hate reading off a computer screen.
