"Japanese anime company Studio 4°C (Tekkonkinkreet, The Animatrix, Berserk) is producing a new web promotional anime series called PES: Peace Eco Smile for Toyota Motor Corporation. The first promotional anime short in the project is "Do for Love," and each short will run three to four minutes long. The campaign will launch on Thursday when a special site opens.

The comical short stories center around PES, a traveller from space, and NaSuBi, a mysterious life-form who is enamored by the charm of Earth. They immerse themselves in the Tokyo neighborhood of Kichijōji and learn about kindness to people, the value of loving, and the importance of the little happinesses in life.

Yuichiro Hayashi (Batman: Gotham Knight) is directing the project, and Akiko Yajima (Crayon Shin-chan's title character) is voicing NaSuBi. The musical artists Halfby, Yuri Miyauchi, Hiroko Sebu, Seiichi Yamamoto, yuya matsumura (white white sisters), and Spangle call Lilli line are all collaborating on the soundtrack."

The last time there was an anime that was a huge advertisement was Tiger & Bunny, and it turned out to be one of the best of that year. So, I think I'll give this a shot.
