I just started the series and it has a very Sailor Moon feeling to it. Right now I am really enjoying it and I love the relationships between the characters. I like how the elements are incorporated with each.
I also really like the romance aspects that are being thrown into the show.

Haven't gotten around to watching it myself yet ... I've been spending time watching Sailor Moon - but if it has a similar feel ...

Well ... I ended up enjoying Sailor Moon more than I thought I would, so I'll definitely give Mew Mew a watch ... as soon as I have all the episodes.

Well, if the girls are supposed to be infused with the red data animals, then what kind of animals are Lettuce and Mint? They seem to just be cutely based on food... -_-... Though I only ever bought the two first volumes of the manga, I think those two were a bird and some sort of fish/sea mammal. Without really doing great amounts of research, Blue Lorikeet and Finless Porpoise have turned up.
