After reading through this thread, I finally understand why the "censored" version I watched was still uncensored. The entire time I was thinking, "...If this is the censored version, then just what the heck would be shown in the uncensored release?!"

Then there's the why:

The guy dies "twice," yet in his final moments, he is still thinking about breasts/something perverted. I want this guy to die, yet I'm afraid he'll end up living somehow, therefore I'd have to listen to him talk about breasts again. Freaking conundrums. Totally NOT watching this incredibly ecchi anime.

If it had been somebody else posting it, I would have thought ur post was 100% sarcasm but since it's you, one of the few users around who somehow enjoyed watching maken-ki (myself included), I believe you are serious. You are gonna get what you want (boobs,pantsu,etc) but not as much as want. This was adapted from a light novel which is basicly pure text with a few pictures so any fanservice here was added at the animation studio to get some fanboys but I don't think they are gonna add too much or they might ruin a potentially interesting plot.

The novel was adapted into a manga also, which is filled to the brim with fanservice. I highly doubt the anime adaption is not going to follow suit

Ah, forgot the light novel part. But that's reserved for stuff like Spice and Wolf, which has plot, Horo and excellent dialogue, or any of the three. Not that I've ever read a light novel or anything, or know what franchises have them. But this... the plot will end up disappointing as it degrades into ecchi antics that make the first part seem slightly raunchy from it's modest showing and the staple beach episode with the onsen soon after. With a main who wants to fondle some titties from the start, whom paid more attention to the titties than the transformation, whose dying thoughts were titties and who-

woke up in bed naked with a naked honey

- no way it cannot degrade into perversion riddled boob service. There is no way that a plot that needs censorship can keep it up. It's just so... illogical.

More plot than Maken-Ki... That does feel like a low expectation now that I think about it. But quite alright with that. And no way a show that has nudity can keep a straight plot.
