Hell, I'd gladly measure BOTH up to the light novels, which are the real story and art source. (but I don't have any copies of those)

And I won't complain much about the art. With this show it is the characters that matter, and complaining about the art distracts from that.
Oh, you misunderstood, I wasn't claiming that all manga was better than the corresponding anime. All I was saying is that comparing the two isn't really fair to either.

Billions of people talk to an imaginary friend every day. And they believe you'll suffer for not doing the same.
Quite frankly, I find her less crazy.

You find a weird chick, babbling to an "Air Friend" normal, i think it's evidence she needs therapy. Lets agree to disagree.

Not normal.(no one is normal anyways)
Just not crazy.
As the anime itself quite clearly pointed out, she has an "air friend" due to an emotional issue. She isn't actually "seeing" anyone.
While religious people on the other hand...

Back up. She made it pretty clear she can see "Tomo". She found it weird Halo hair guy couldn't see her, so she's definitely seeing someone.

The OP and ED are fanservice galore which actually made me fear for what's going to be in the episode, but the episode itself really didn't have anything too distracting going on.

Anyways (and this is a note to everyone, not just the person I'm quoting), stop comparing the anime to the manga. Rarely, if ever, do the two really match up in both story and art. It's as fruitless as comparing a movie to a book it was based on.
I meant with regards to the faces. They are moe faces with makeup (lipstick/eyeliner/etc). It doesn't mix. I don't have any faults with the anatomy.

It's an act, quite obviously.
Just as a child with a fantasy friend.

Keyword to the entire thing: "betrayal"

Or, going back to my original point, she's just bonkers.
