You've Earned Badges!

I'm extremely pleased to introduce badges, our version of site achievements. This feature has been in development since before V3 was launched - it was cut to accomodate blogs and custom lists, and finally is seeing the light of day.

You can read up on what badges are here. The V1 set of badges is around 120, but we'll be adding new sets of badges every week or two for awhile. Some badges will have vague descriptions - that's part of the fun! You can discuss how you think certain badges are earned by chatting in the Badge Discussion Forum.

Finally, if you like this feature and want us to add more badges a lot quicker, please consider donating. 100% of donations go towards site development, and right now our top priority is badges!

Thanks, and I hope you all love this new feature. It's a very long time coming :)

Very very cool! Also if anyone has an idea for a new badge we a have thread going in the Badge Discussion Forum already!

I was pretty excited being able to test this out. ^_^ Hopefully we squashed all the bugs for this killer feature.

BTW, if you like the badges:

-Tell your friends to come try out AP and get badges for themselves!
-If you have friends on AP who havent logged in for awhile, drop them a profile comment to come back! Once they log on, they'll get tons of new badges :)

Never used forums before but there's always first time. This is so awesome I just wanted to update my anime list like usual but when I opened AP boom! badges! I think I'll be excited for a whole week if not more
