The GPU in my AP laptop died, had to wait a week to get a new mobo, and now the system won't start at all.
I now have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time to get this issue fixed, and don't have access to any of my old mail prior to a week ago. I know I had a few requests for activation fixes - if you are waiting on that specifically (as opposed to username changes or other things that belong here in the forum), please re-email me as I have access only to new mail (and even then it's infrequent that I can get to it) Sorry for the inconvenience.

Update: I'm now being sent a replacement of the replacement motherboard shortly and hopefully will be back up and running within a few days.

Heh, "a replacement for the replacement".
In the meantime, you could probably connect the laptop's harddrive to some other comp as a slave drive, and get all your old emails & data that way.
