Character tag list - feedback requested

Thinking about it the "Merchant" tag could not only cover people like traveling merchants but also shop owners/workers that sell things.

Yeah, the reason I suggested businessman instead of just covering all under office worker was thinking of the likes of Lawrence from Spice and Wolf an Richard Jones from Victorian Romance Emma - they own their own businesses but don't work in offices. Likewise something like Businessman would cover merchants as well as those higher up that work in say, the media or music etc - merchant wouldn't cover those.

As for the feminine then maybe just use office worker instead of salaryman - I'm trying to think of a non gender-specific version of businessman that would cover the above.

I would say "Office Worker" and "Merchant" would do a good job at covering all the areas without being gender-specific.

And all this talk about jobs, and nobody mentioned an "Unemployed" tag. Haha. There's another suggestion.

CEOs of large corporations which work in production rather than selling. Though technically office worker could be used, it strikes me as being used for someone lower down the rung...

I get what you're saying. Perhaps we could think of a tag specifically for higher ups? This would also cover people that are in say secretive organizations, ect.

Just though of a simple alternative to Mastermind/Tactical/Strategic. Clever. Perhaps not the BEST alternative. But it is a simpler term.

Also noticed the character database is up. Is this thread still open to discuss tags?

Could we perhaps get a thread to discuss current tags? As I have questions. In the event that this tag will be used to discuss current tags let me ask. In order for the "Demon" tag to be applied I'm guess the person doesn't necessarily have to look abnormal correct? What specifies as a demon?
