New feature - see all manga by mangaka

We've just launched the beginning of what will hopefully become a people database; for now it's rudimentary and just lists all manga associated with an author/artist for manga.

If you're looking at a manga entry, you will now see the artist/author names are links. By clicking them you'll see a list of all manga assoicated with that person.

I've also come to a decision on how to list the names. Though JP/Korean names are natively listed as Last Name First Name, we've decided to go with the western-style format of First Name Last Name; this is how the majority of English sites go with it (wikipedia, ann, any book purchasing site, etc). We will fully capitalize the last name so it's easy to tell which is the given and which is the family name.

We've also started to sort through each person name in the database and verifying there are no mistakes (since manga were added very rapidly over the last few months and there have been a few problems). If the person's name has a fully capitalized last name, it's been looked at and approved.

As an important note, if anyone (who I know already) can spend some time today helping me approve the names, please let me know! It's an easy but repetetive task. I've been doing it myself but it makes my tendonitis act up like crazy, and I really need a lot of time today to start creating the specs for articles/clubs for the site. I'd greatly appreciate if I didn't have to go through all of the names myself! I can walk you through what's needed.

All the names are done, except for the problematic ones (chinese names, dupes, alt spellings, etc).

Was playing around with this new feature, clicking on the authors of my favorite manga. Noticed that Matsuri HINO didn't have Meri Puri under it.

Great to see this implemented sothis. I think your decision to list the names in Western form with the family name capitalised is a great move too.

Just a query though... is there currently any way to search directly for a person? If not, are there plans to make this possible?
