Where'd you put the "Delete account" option after adding the "My watching list" button? Not that I'd ever think about deleting my acc, and I like the button not being in such a place where you can click it accidentally. Is the option removed, or is it just me who can't find where you put it?

Because the option should definitely be there. We don't want another "Facebook-scam" where you can't delete your account after making it.

that was removed temporarily. part of the reason the site has been crawling, we realized, is because people were likely deleting accounts. if someone has a big account and deletes, it's a very taxing process on the server due to all the triggers/etc... so we aren't sure yet what the best way to delete is. it may be that we have to go back to what it was before v3, where people request and it's then scheduled. uncertain yet.

Ok. If it's decided to revert back to having to be requested, then I think it should be written somewhere that that is how you do it. Else people'll just abandon their accs not thinking about that possibility. Like most probably have done in the past.

But how do you mean it scheduled? That it's done when the load is light on the site anyways or something? However that is done though, why not let the "delete" button just mark the acc for deletion, like if it was requested. And then just not show them to others, and delete all marked accs at the next time it's "scheduled".

Well look at that, away from my computer for a few days and I come back to a pleasant surprise.

I haven't gotten around to use many of the new features yet, but first off the layout looks great and those features that I have used are very nice.

its a possibility, but there's no budget to code that right now... thus i'm removing the button for the time being so people can browse again :p

v3 bill-wise, btw, as we're closing up on remaining bugs it's looking tenatively like the bill will be around 3-400$ more than is in the anime-planet account right now (that assumes no big bugs pop up, and the bugs left don't get out of control).

keep in mind after that, there's a total of $0 to work on any new functionality moving forward to anything.. major bugs included.

i'll be posting a donation thread soon, but just wanted to give a heads up here first. if you like V3 so far, please help me be able to pay the bill and afford to keep working on V3.1! ^_^;

I just have to chime in, I absolutely love the new site! It's everything I thought it would be and more! Congrats on the launch, and I hope the transition to the new version continues to go smoothly!

By the way, I absolutely love the new Haruhi theme! I can't wait to see more :)
