The life on anime / manga status bars have been updated to reflect the exact number of months and years to the minute. The previous calculation was simply an estimate (calculated at 28 days in one month), but now you can boast and be confident in your now 100% accurate life bar.

Users who have already watched one or more months of anime will noticed that their total will be slightly reduced. This is due to the update in the precision of our calculations.

Our calculation is based on the average minutes in a month and year according to the Gregorian calendar. This means that there will be times when the life bar will appear to “jump” to the next month or year prematurely. However, this is to be expected, as there are 4.348 weeks in a month on average (the life bar only shows 4). Taking into account the unnatural number of weeks in a month, you can rest assured that our life bar is still accurate even though it appears to jump from time to time.

Mine displays "15 Minutes # 19 Hours # 1 Day # 4 Weeks # 1 Month" now.
Is this what you mean with "jump"? I'm getting a little confused over the 1 month 4 weeks.

lmao. That's funny.
4.348 weeks per month means that each month translates to 4 weeks & 3 days (actually, 2.4 days). Add another 1.5~2 days to your bar & it should kick over to the next month.

Wow, I think even trying to figure it all out would hurt my head hee hee. Hurrah for accuracy but waaah I lost like 4 days.

Oh well, I'll just have to watch more anime hee hee. :D

i think this is bad usability (showing 1 month and 4 weeks) so ive contacted our dev to fix it - havent heard back yet though.
