Default What (specific) pages of the site are most important to you?

The upcoming version 3 (V3) of the site will have a special set of 'hotlinks' at the top of the page that will be somewhat user customizable. By default, we'll pick the 3-4 that we think most people will care about the most (for example, 'browse by tag' or 'current anime season'), but users will be able to select from a small list of other options as well to customize their site browsing experience.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a substantial set of these (which means maybe the links don't need to be as customizable as anticipated?) so i'm asking you for help.

The following items should NOT count as hotlinks, since we'll already have clear navigation for them:

-Main navigation (home, anime home, users home, reviews home, forum)
-(Personal) profile links (your profile home, your anime list, your friends)
-Anything forum related

Also, we want this list to be small and only items that people would care about. For example, unless a lot of people chime in, 'Browse by Studio' probably wouldn't be popular enough to go into the list. Keep in mind that the point of these hotlinks is easy access to a few areas you access a lot.

So, which pages do you care about on the site or bookmark the most? I'm not talking about 'The Naruto homepage', I'm talking about general areas (browse by tag, newest anime, etc).

You can also list pages that might not exist yet, but you'd love to have it as a hot link if you could.

What I've come up with so far:

-Current Anime Season (would load up the browse by year page with the newest season selected)

-Newest Anime (meaning most recently added to the site)

-Newest Reviews

-Browse by Tag

-Newest Manga

thanks in advance for your help!

Definately recently added anime, that's one thing I miss from v2, having the little link to it at the side. Browse by tag is another part I tend to use more. As for any other links that would be nice to have, I like the idea of having a link to the current season, but I would probably use a link to current year more, i.e. 2008 anime.

Other than that I can't really think of much else. If I want to see a list of the most recent reviews, I just click on the reviews button at the top.

Edit: Ooo actually one thing that could be interesting, more a request or suggestion really, would be a link to a page showing the latest x number of recs. I know it shows the latest recommendation on the anime page but maybe have a list of say today's recommendations or the last 2 days or whatever.

To me, my most used pages are probably newest reviews, Anime page, and my anime list.

All the pages I would list are ones you just said NOT to list. :-\
Seriously, I only use the "browse by..." once in a while, and don't really care about new reviews etc. The only site pages I use often are my watching list, the newest/recent anime (probably the recent manga too, once that gets added), and the forum.

I definatly like the "browse by tag" I use that alot I think "browse by type" (movie, OVA, TV, Special, ect) would be good because alota times I'll be looking for only the OVA series or specials I mighta accedently skipped. Also a "browse by episode count" would be awesome cause I'm oneof those people that usua;y doesn't like uber-long series so you could have like a list of episode ranges (ex. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, ect.)

drahken: have no fear, the stuff i said not to list are ones youll automatically have easy/quick navigation to anyways! ^_^ this will be for another small subset of links that will show up under the newly-moved search box.

Browse by tag, Browse by type, Newest anime(s) are the ones I'd use the most.

Honestly, Browse by tag is the only one I use often enough to care about.
