Recommendation moderation system is back
 

The moderation/editing systme for recommendations is back up. 99% of you will never see this tool, but it's been rebuilt in a major way to facilitate mods/editors in a very easy way.

Because the tool is back up, now any new recs aren;t visible by default. I'm going through the last 600 recs made in the last month to get us up to date, but it wont be finished till tomrorow. After that point, expect recs to go up pretty quickly after they are posted, but not immediately.

we're now caught up! had quite a few recs that were failed/sent back to the user, but otherwise everything should be up now. keep in mind for future recs, there will be a bit of lag before they show up on the site.

take a look at the recommendation of "serial experiments lain" in
NieA Under 7 - Anime-Planet

by lantis - Anime-Planet (a person who apparently never visited)

with the recommendation
"well, they were made by the same people. Give it a chance, you won't regret it. Beware head trips."

I didn't think that recommending based on who made it was allowed

there are about 7,000 old recommendations that need to be revisited - i clearly have no time to do it now ;)
