this technically is a smart recommender, but i'm not sure how well i t works yet. what it does is compare the genres of the anime reviewed, and tries to match with other reviews that share as many of the same genres as possible. it matches less and less until it finds none with the same genres, and at that point they are randomized.

at glance sometimes the suggestions are similar, and oter times they are really not... i need to look at the tags each has sometime; we need to add more tags as i'm sure that will help, or open it up to minor tags (dragons, ninja, etc)

and no, i'm not putting this into place for recommendations ;)

Love the new layout. I love the screen shot system as well... The only thing that I am sad about is that you have to go to the recommendation itself to see the screen shots from the anime that is recommended... But hey! You can't have everything.

I haven't been here in a while and then I come back and everything was missing I was sad. It is nice to see that the features are only temporarily missing. Anyways the site's new look is pretty good.
