I don't see this turning into a smiley-only forum any time soon. That depends on what the people posting are like and really, nearly no one here is the kind to just flood like that on a regular basis.

if they did, they'd get banned anyways. this has always been a fantastic community, it's not like adding a few smilies means suddenly everyone becomes a moron.
i personally have laughed seeing the troll face popping up in various places (and its always applicable/funny) so i'm not sure i get what the big deal is.
