Looking for volunteers to run one (or two?) clubs, for welcoming ppl and helping ^_^

I'll need to ask him for those guides he wrote at least, anything not having to be done from scratch is time-saving.

Sothis you can put me on the list for both clubs as an advising member. Before I came to AP I modded on a stream site and helped run a couple clubs on MAL, I know what you mean by burnout. So I wouldn't be able to do anything like running either club (After I finish the People Mod Project I'm working on then I may have the time to help out more, because that's one thing that's eaten up most of my mod time around here these past 2 months). But I can easily help give opinions on different things.

Sothis, could you give Habhome access to the HTWA Mod forum? I have a few things posted there and a few lists of things that I could probably either dig up or make/finish in my free time over spring break for him. And then he'll have an idea for that.

We sorta tried this before, but it kinda fell on its ass... we had a lot of people willing to help but none of the newer members really ever posted there..

Yes, the difference this time around is that this is a more of a help-section for the main-site side of things, there are a lot of new members there who never ever create a forum account, some simply because they don't realize they need to get a separate account, and other's because they are simply just interested in the main site.

Also there is the welcoming team which will inform of the existence of the help team, so new members will know about it right away and not have to guess there is such a thing.

I'd be happy to help out in the welcoming club. As I posted earlier, I have a ton of free time presently until about mid August when I'll be doing all my prep for returning to college. So you can have me for the next few months! ^_^

I'm an avid user of another forums for a certain game. We have a team that's exactly like that. Though it's going through some renovations atm but the team works. We don't get much newbies but we split it off into three sections..We have the greeters, the counselors, and staff support. It would be redundant for me to explain what each of those jobs. but it works. And i'm sure it would work on here as well. even though i'm new here i'll be willing to lend some help if needed.

i can commit to 1-3 dozen hello and/or help me's a week, if you're serious about getting this off the ground. im envisioning some sort of ticketing/queueing system. let me know if im way off base here. i keep extremely busy, but i also honor commitments.
