Default Section Rules

Purpose
-----------------------------------------------
Discuss specific anime here. If the anime is currently airing, the discussion thread might be located in the Currently Airing Anime subforum. You may discuss individual episodes and first impressions here or in Currently Airing Anime, but reviews and final impressions should be posted in the Anime Reviews forum.

Thread Creation
-----------------------------------------------
Want to discuss an anime that doesn't have a thread? First, check the alphabetical list; the thread title might be a synonym of the anime. Also, check Currently Airing Anime to ensure that the thread does not already exist there. If not, you can create your own thread here.

Episode Acquiring or Downloads
-----------------------------------------------
Discussing where to download the anime or where you can watch it online is not allowed.

Discussion Format
-----------------------------------------------
You must mark the content of each post with a spoiler tag, and episode label; this is because different people watch different releases, and might not be at the same point that you are. Not marking spoilers will result in a ban.

Please use the following format:

Episode 5:
[spoiler]Stuff here[/spoiler]

Spoilers for manga/light novels/anything should be left to their own sections (manga) unless absolutely necessary. If added, they must be labeled with the medium being discussed (for example, "manga spoiler") before the spoiler tag. Users who abuse this rule (posting ample manga spoilers in the anime section, or not posting labels at all) will be banned.

Conduct
-----------------------------------------------
Everyone has their own opinions; respect them, and they'll respect you. Debating and constructive criticism is fine, flaming is not.

Default Re: Section Rules

I've added several new bbcode tags for the Specific Anime Discussion.
These are split in two parts: Currently Airing Anime and Anime Reviews.

Usage:

For Currently Airing Anime: [sadht={param}]{option}[/sadht][sadhl={param}]{option}[/sadhl][sadhdc][/sadhdc]

For Anime Reviews: [sadht={param}]{option}[/sadht][sadhl={param}]{option}[/sadhl][sadhc][/sadhc][sadhr={param}]{option}[/sadhr][sadhdr][/sadhdr]

http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode
------------------------------

Detailed Explantion of these tags:
  • [sadht]{param}[/sadht]
    [sadht={option}]{param}[/sadht]
    In place of {param} add the Anime title,and in place of {option} the a.k.a. title
    Quote:
    Examples:
    [sadht]Please Twins[/sadht]
    Please Twins

    [sadht=Onegai Twins]Please Twins[/sadht]
    Please Twins
    (a.k.a. Onegai Twins)
  • The sadhl tag is works that way:
    [sadhl={option}]{param}[/sadhl]
    Example:
    Quote:
    [sadhl]{param}[/sadhl]
    [sadhl={option}]{param}[/sadhl]
  • [sadhc][/sadhc] ... No modification needed, but use this in combination with the sadhr-tag to link to Reviews.
    Quote:
    Site Reviews:
  • [sadhr=name]{param}[/sadhr]
    {param} ... Review ID
    {option} ... Username who wrote the Review which is linked by {param}
    Filling [sadhr=][/sadhr] not out will just result in not showing up.
    The reviewers tag works that way:
    Quote:
    False Usage of the sadhr tag: [sadhr]REVIEW-ID[/sadhr]
    [sadhr]REVIEW-ID[/sadhr]
    Correct Usage of the sadhr tag: [sadhr=name]REVIEW-ID[/sadhr]
    name

    Real Examples:
    They Were Eleven Anime Review by valondar - Anime-Planet
    False Usage of the sadhr tag: [sadhr]a569[/sadhr]
    [sadhr]a569[/sadhr]
    Correct Usage of the sadhr tag: [sadhr=valondar]a569[/sadhr]
    valondar
