I enjoyed it, it's quite potentially entertaining.

Brad said:Oh, and how great was that weird "DA-DA-DA....DA-DA-DUUUM" BGM that was playing during the elf ear scene? There was another anime that had that kind of weird BGM that i watched recently, but i can't remember the name of it now....balls.
I really liked how the empress girl is actually willing to change and adapt her view on how she sees the world: rather than being a completely stuck-up spoiled brat.
also, I loved her reaction to Attack on Titan.
does anyone know if that Slave and Maou manga the maid was reading at the end actually exists, and what it's called?
Episode 2
Go for it Shinichi do what every typical westerner does when they enter another culture look at everything negative about it and try and tear it apart from within because capitalism is the only way go democracy!
Despite the Moe in this series it has a lot of dark undertones sure slavery and predjudice is bad but you don't just force your views on someone no matter how wrong you think they are that makes you no better than them in the end. Also the otaku culture spreading will cripple their economy and make their kingdom reliant on Japan leading to weakness and decrease in military so Japan can invade by force. Having a foreign nation reliant on them for addictive products is a method that has been done in the past too to think such a light-hearted series could be so dark. I mean who better to cripple another nation than the otaku NEET Shinichi?
Being more serious now like the series but could do without the western culture is so noble BS. Then again its a comedy they probably handle in a light hearted way hopefully nothing too offensive like in Maou no yuusha.
