I'm not sure who here actually knew or knows, but Diablo 3's NDA was lifted as of 12:01 AM Aug 1st. There was a Blizzard fan summit the week or so beforehand where a couple people from Diablo forum sites, and podcasts attended. Just wanted to post some of the new information that was introduced in case no one was aware Diablo 3 Press Event Visit - Diablo Discussion and Community Forums - DiabloFans.com Overall article by Sixen of the entire summit trip here. ‪ForceSC2strategy's Channel‬‏ - YouTube Here is a podcast from Force who also attended the summit with Sixen.
God, I can't wait for this; one of the best game series ever crafted! Hopefully Blizzard will focus more on other projects and give up on WoW which is slowly descending towards certain doom...
Blizzard is implementing a Real world currency auction house for in game items. Meaning that when someone in Diablo finds some good unique or rare they can put it up on an Auction house for all characters to see and purchase for real life money.
Pretty much. Kind of like how you can go to one of those sketchy third party sites and buy gear off paypal cash, or on ebay back when Diablo II was in it's prime.
Kidding me? Sounds sweet to me. There will still be a non-money auction house where you use in game money. So hopefully in game money will actually mean something in this one unlike in D2.
i would like to see more games that allowed you to open a private shop in camp to sell your stuff....it is one of the things i like about flyff....
So have you guys decided what class/character you will be? I will probably make Demon Hunter since i have always enjoyed playing "assassin" classes. Pretty many games have that function. Would be nice if D3 had it too though...
When I was newer to the game I did. Hahaha easy champion to use. I mainly tinker with support or Teemo right now.
