Default A revised section for Fan-Fiction and Fan-Art?

I doubt we do, but do we already have a section devoted to Fanfic reading? I don't think we do, and even if we did, I don't have any internet links to host mine on. So I was thinking we could do the following:

Make a new section in the Creative Workship area, or rather have 2 sections, one being fan-art and the other being fan-fiction. The people in the fan-fiction section can either post links to a website hosting their fan-fic through that section, or they can send their fanfic to someone at APN who can host if for them due to not having their own website (like me ). Inside these two fan-work sections, we should make it so that a user would start a new thread for each fan-art/fic, so that way we can keep everything from getting jumbled together.

My main reason for this idea is because I have an Eva-Gundam fanfic that I have been working on for the past couple years, and I have been looking for a way to get it out on the net so others can read it. My options are severely limited due to not having a website of my own. I can send episode 1 of my fanfic to Sothis or someone with security/authority rights here on the APN site, and they can post in it the (possibly) soon-to-be new fan-fiction section for a trial run.
If we can do that, it would be easiest if Sothis or whoever activated their e-mail button (if it's not already on) and I can send episode 1 through the e-mail. The reasoning behind having a different thread for each fan-fiction/art, besides keeping them from egtting jumbled together, would be so that comments for each fan-fiction/art can be seperated from others.

EDIT: OK, just in case that was a little confusing packed in with all the other stuff, I'm saying we should simply make a seperate section for "Fan-Fiction" and another for "Fan-Art" under "Creative Works." They would be set up just like how the "General Anime Discussion" and "Currently Airing/Releasing Series" sections are set up under "Anime Discussion", then just like in the "General Anime Discussion" section where you start a new thread if you want to talk about something new.
I think this would be a nice, organized convenience for people (including myself) who want to post their fan works and want them to be distinguished between fan-art and fan-fiction instead of all packed into one section.

Soth, I won't fight it if you don't want to make new sections or anything, but I'd like some kind of answer.

i'd definitely like to see how many people think this is a good idea first :) i've always tried to not overload the forum with too many sections (since people tend to get lost in those kinds of places). people tend to not read this section much, unfortunately :( so perhaps you could drum upinterest to try to read this thread? hehe

Okay, I'll go see if I can dig up some interest in this idea. :)

OK. It's just that I don't know how many people read this section, but I knew a ton of people read the General Anime Discussion section, so...

a good way might be to go into the irc channel and post about it a lot ^_^

i just want people to realize they need to read this section, instead of finding out about it in other places (i always wish i could do that too, but people wont learn :()

<-----Doesn't have IRC and doesn't know how to use it.

Yeah I know, I'm a pitiful sucker. The title is just for show.

Anyway, when you vote, please post your reasoning just so I can get some actual feedback on this.
