(pasted from the front page of the site... you guys should read that for updates, by the way, i never post about new themes and other things here in the forum, just there)
ADV contacted me about reviewing their titles on the site. Thus, I've made a new DVD reviews section, and we've posted our first review. All reviews are jointly written by myself, and Dave. It's still very beta (I wanted to get it up for now, and will work on tweaking it tomorrow (aka today, i wrote this last night)), but feel free to check out our first review, Burn Up! Keep in mind that there are full reviews of each anime still in the Reviews Database as well. Click "DVD Reviews" once you are on the normal reviews page to check out the DVD ones (though there's only one right now). |

I think it might work out better if maybe you got in touch with AnimeOnDVD.com and got permission to just link to them from each series' recommendation page. They've pretty much got this sort of thing down to a science. They've got supplies of DVDs all set up, they've got high-quality equipment to watch them on, they've got experience spotting A/V kind of stuff, they've got a well-known site dedicated to this very thing... And then there's all the places like amazon.com, etc. that have their own reviews. The Anime Recommendation Database was an excellent and unique idea, but DVD reviews are already well-covered, methinks.
I hate to be a downer, but that's my two cents... |

mecha, im not sure if you read the entire first post... the point is that ADV is now sending me FREE anime on the condition that i review it
why would linking animeondvd fix that? then i'd get no free anime, that was the entire point of making that section |
