ideas for new rankings?

right now its something like:

watches pokemon
hates dbz
helps fansub
otaku

or something.

thought i'd open up the floor for ideas on NEW titles? these are the titles that regular people get, and they increase depending on how many posts you have. ideas?

Well, what about basing new ranking titles on a mix count of forum posts and recommendations. Example 1 recommendation equals 5 forum posts.

i can't think of any way to integrate phpbb's post counts with recommendations, nor how to tie that into rankings...

(because that's most often what a person with this title IS).

I don't help fansub.. but I DO watch raws, for instance.

I like the list for the most part but I don't like the DL's with BT or IRC because I just don't like all the spammy bullshit that comes with IRC... thus I use BT but DL's with WinMX or something would be more appropriate. I think it could be something simpler like;

Newbie
Lurker
"Cartoon" Watcher
Pokemon Watcher
Anime Watcher
Ghibli Fan
Prefers Dubs
American Release Collector
Prefers Subs
Eats With Chopsticks
Import Collector
Prefers Raws
Speaks Fluent Japanese
Rare Title Collector
Scares Even Anime Fans
Knows more about anime than the creators
SoThis' Elite Peeler Squad

I also thought a much longer list would be nice too... that way it is more substantial to have more posts or fewer really. Well, that's my idea.

well let's see, good ranking ideas, hmmm.

having more ranks is always good, especially for the lower post counts.

as for ranks, that's always tough to think about.
