avatar problems?

is anyone having problems with this? btime is, i wanted to make sure others cant do it also

I do not notice any problems over here.
Can btime be more specific with his/her problem description? Avatars nog showing? Or can't he upload an avatar? Off-site avatar linking doesn't work?

well he showed me the error message and it seemed to be a problem with permissions, which is why i assume it will affect everyone. it seemed to be related to uploading an avatar that was within the size dimensions

Upload avatar from your machine gives some error messages. PM'ed a screenshot to you.

Upload avatar from a URL seems to work, but after submitting there's no avatar. No errors displayed here.

linking to off-site (which I always use) works fine.

what sucks is this could be a huge number of things, most of which i have no idea how to troubleshoot, and certainly don't have time to reinstall the whole forum again.

i'll try to look into this this weekend

i can only update smaaal avatars..or limited 11kb and 120 size. is that normal???

Yes the size is right... My autobot avatar is 1.17 KiB big. If you want bigger avatars you haveto host them somewere else. Also the Name pockemon watcher will stick with you for a wile. This you cant change with a setting you will just haveto post here for a wile and *poff* it will dissapear. But remeber D O N T spam...

the avatar size was chosen because this site uses up a huge, huge amount of bandwidth. 11k is still just fine if you optimize using photoshop or something

and yes, pokemon watcher goes away after awhile, it's a title that all new users get
