Color change for forum (everyone's input needed)
 

This poll is posted by sothis' request. She needs input on how many people don't like the awful red color theme we have now and want another one.
Note that there's an option in the board to make several styles - personally I'd like that one, so that anyone who wants could choose their own preferred style.

If i had to choose between those three I would go with the good old blue

Well, i like blue better, but as long as it doesn't hurt the eye i don't care about colors

guys, theres no way in hell i will put blue up, so you might as well remove that option from the poll. the image above is RED, and i will not put an ugly blue stylesheet to match it.

period.

also, i just realized dark gray wont work because the rest is grey, and you wouldnt be able to see the titles. so the only other option that fits with the above banner is yellow. i am guessing you guys dont want dark yellow, so dark red is the best option.

this happened in another forum i was on, people went on and on about how they didnt like the new color scheme. they got used to it eventually

Just give us different themes to choose from (one could be old banner + blue color) just like on the main site http://community.anime-planet.com/

Could you make blue an option as a skin? That way people could at least choose what color they want without having you to change the setup for everyone?

i dont think you understand how much bandwidth the site eats up... a large amount being from the forum. it is already at around 25 gigs per month (thats HUGE), with my max being 30. so unless i get a shit ton of donations or i start putting up a ton of ads to pay for it, its silly to ask me to jeopardize even more bandwidth for themes in the forum. the forum is probably at least half of the hits per day, so the only thing i can do to save my wallet is to put *one* banner up.

not to mention, the old banner doesnt hold a candle to the new one. i will not put worse looking banners up just because you guys cant get used to a dark red. (not saying the old banner sucked, but it isnt up to the same quality as this one, that should be really obvious). on that same token, somehow making a second stylesheet with blue would look fucking awful with the red banner. and since i wont change the banner, i will not allow a horrible clashing color scheme to be put up beside it.

and quite frankly, i just spent all last night splitting the sites, fixing the forum, and doing everything for you guys. i do NOT have the time or energy to make another stylesheet from scratch (99% of people go off the one subsilver theme), just so i can waste more of my bandwidth here in the forum.

as far as im concerned, the theme looks fantastic.

at the moment, im feeling a little fucking unappreciated here.
