distman, about bubblegum crisis, you also forgot ad police. it's more of a spinoff sidestory and isnt directly related to any of the shows, but it still has its ties none the less.

OK - the first timeline is the manga, of course.
Factoid - AMG sprung out of a drawing Fujishima did for "You're Under Arrest" where the station ladies were praying to a goddess. The manga is, if anything is, the definitive timeline. The five OVAs happen some what during the first year Bell is on Earth. It's not identical to the manga, but it's still some of the same things. The movie is about three or four years later than the start of the manga, and is an alternative timeline to the manga also (I've never found out if it's the same timeline as the OVA, though). Adventures of the Mini-Goddess was a filler series, and can be enjoyed in sequence anytime after the third OVA episode. AotMG was the "TV" series, strangely enough ... |

Love Hina - again, the manga is the definitive time line.
Then the Christmas special, and the Spring Special (in sequence!) Then Love Hina Again, which is not quite the whole manga. Ken publicly stated that he has no plans to extend the series any further. Which is a shame - he intro'ed a new character at the end of Love Hina volume 14 that would have been interesting. |

ROD the OVA is three episodes long.
Five years later, the world is changed somewhat. ROD/TV starts off focusing on a friend of Yomiko Readman that hasn't heard of her friend in four years, and also explains some of the background on the OVA. So, preferred order is OVA --> TV The manga is different, and not identical. And the novels that started it all - aren't available in English right now *sigh* |

This is simple and straightforward.
One note - the manga is not concluded in Japan yet. AYA is 24 episodes that introduces us to all of the main cast, and sets up the basic premise of conflict. Enishi picks up two years later, and while it doesn't finish the situation, it DOES help show how they are changing. |

3 episode OVA - Spinoff from the 2032 timeline. 12 episode (TV) - Spinoff from the 2040 timeline. Parasite Dolls is a spin-off from AD Police (TV I believe). Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2041 is rumoured to be in the works. The Bubblegum Crisis Center |

I was just looking at the additional info on the VHD movies, and the following is missing:
In the original a half-human/half-vampire (such as D himself) is referred to as a vampeal. In Bloodlust, they are referred to as a dunpeal. There are some other minor variations which do not come to mind atm. |

I don't know what you'll want to use of this, but here goes:
--- Mezzo Forte (2000) and Mezzo DSA (2004) Mezzo Forte occurs several years prior to DSA. Mezzo DSA - 05 - Shell of Lies (Episode Nega) contains flashbacks to events in Mezzo Forte. Although it is not essential to have seen Forte, it does give some clarity to these scenes.
