Monthly Marathon Ideas

Would be cool to have a certain studio-marathon, as in watch stuff from a specific studio like Madhouse, Production I.G, J.C Staff, Toei.... The best part is, there's a lot of studios so if you run out of other ideas, you can just choose another studio to marathon :)

Agreed here. Especially on something like the Shounen/Shoujo one where people aren't going to run out of shows to watch

Some possible shows for the Animal MM:

The Enemy's the Pirates (6 episode OVA)
Maya the Bee (55 episode series I've been meaning to watch_
Higepiyo (39 short episodes)

Might come back with some more but those are 3 that could work and most people haven't seen them

For the Animals marathon, it'd be nice if not all the series were ones with 'Animal Protagonists'. Like this: Daisougen no Chiisana Tenshi Bush Baby | Anime-Planet or if there's an anime about a girl who is training to be a vet or something, that'd be neat.

Also! Can you include some of those old really dark children's movies featuring cute animals that they made a lot of in the 70s~?

Reminds me of Kemono no Souja Erin which is actually another show I've been meaning to watch.

I'd love to include that one but it's not avaliable on-line (from my brief look around) and I like to keep the anime I put in the marathons accessible to all or at least most. :( It looks awesome though. This is a huge issue with a lot of the World Masterpiece Theater anime :(

A total yes to the dark children movies though. Unico, Ringing Bell, and Windaria are in my list along with some others
