It's time to catch up on all these current airing giant shounen series plus some awesome ones that you might not have started yet from the past! Toss in some shoujo for the ones who don't want to see a lot of blood, sweat, and tears and we got ourselves a great weekend!

When?
March 25-28.

Why?
Everyone enjoys long anime right? ;) These anime are long and thrilling full of magical girls and tough boys! Try and watch ALL you can just to say you sat through EVERY episode of some of the longest series around!

Recommendations: Please add Recommendations for these series once you've watched them! Every single recommendation made helps out the thousands of people who use the database each month to find new stuff to watch. Everyone who participates in this Monthly Marathon should add recommendations for other series they think a person would like, if they can think of any.

User Reviews: User reviews don't have to be many paragraphs, or even have good English. They can be as little as a single paragraph just to explain what you thought of the series and any extra tips for the reader. The longer and more detailed the better, of course.

How?
Just choose a series from the list, movie or OVA and watch it! Post how many episodes you watched if you didn't complete or started off at a certain episode. Counting will go as follows:

1 Episode = 1 point
Recommendation / User Review = .5 points
Bonus 5 points for every 25 episodes watched

Prizes for doing a Monthly Marathon:

so, I thought I should sign up for my first marathon!

I'll try to finish Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (S1, starting from the very first episode)
then, if I have any time over after that I'm going to watch as many One Piece episodes I can before time's up (starting from ep 264 since the last ep I saw was number 263, have it stalled there now)

What an awesome marathon! Marius, this might be your little push to start One Piece! Be it from the beginning or further in, I know you'll grow to love it.

As for me, I'll sign up provisionally for:

-Yu Yu Hakusho (starting in episode 12)
-Slam Dunk

I don't think I'll get either of them watched in that time, but this is a priceless excuse to get started on Slam Dunk or doing some intensive Yu Yu sessions.

Heck, I'm dying to marathon the last arc and this seems a most proper time for that!

Hmmm interesting Sign me up for Yu Yu Hakusho and One Piece, I will start from episode 1 with both of them. I have Seen part of Yu Yu hakusho and part of One piece but it was so long ago that i do not remember one bit of either of them. I know that they are good anime so In this marathon i hope to renew my interest in them both!
