Actually Kirant might not know all the clubs yet, but seems to have a wealth of new and older anime knowledge.

I'm thinking Sengoku Basara, Macross 7, and Bastard!!. I'll also watch Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz movie, but I've already seen it, so it'll just be for the lawls.

Also, May 20th is my mother's bday. I have not been having luck with the timing of the last few marathons-_-

LOL "Manly" mecha, ..

You're misreading it. It's not many AND mecha, it's manly OR mecha. Approx half the series in that list have asbolutely nothing to do with mecha. With that in mind, why would one expect the other half to have anything to do with "manly"?

I was just pointing out, the mecha titles in that group were mostly super powered gar mecha. I have seen almost all these shows. If I had misread it I probably would have said something about
Hokuto no Ken Grappler Baki Master Keaton Ninja Scroll Cyber City Demon City Shinjuku Mad Bull JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Sword of The Stranger or Wicked City ect...
If I had misread it as mecha, I would have posted on those not being mecha would I have not?

The place? --->that is the line that said there are some women that are Gar. Which I obviously missed the first time through. After reading Chii's post Gunbuster and Iczer fall under that category.

So this was not the intention to bring notice of show not being mecha, just ones that seemed to be in the super-powered-Boy-smashing-two-toy-robots-together.
